Background/History

Owned and managed by Jason Dumaresq, a licensed builder and third generation carpenter, Canstruct Builders has been trading for over 20 years with early beginnings in Canada. Originally from Vancouver, Jason picked up tools at a young age honing his skills in his family’s building business. It wasn’t long until he was crafting unique, detailed furniture. After completing his apprenticeship, he worked with leading Canadian builders specialising in timber framing for custom designed homes. Jason worked on multimillion-dollar homes in elite areas of Vancouver, delivering quality outcomes of the highest standard.

In 2006 Jason relocated to Sydney founding then growing Canstruct Builders into a successful building company. Forging a strong relationship with each customer, Canstruct Builders attracts repeat business from satisfied clients. Working throughout Sydney and Northern Rivers, Canstruct Builders has experience in renovations and extensions of 19th Century period homes, modern architectural homes, new homes, and commercial developments.
